New Bodog Site
If you have done any online sports betting, surely you are familiar with the names Bovada and Bodog. Bovada and Bodog are 2 of the biggest powerhouses in the online gaming marketplace, and on July 18 both sites rolled out new site designs with all sorts of updated and exciting features.
Bodog.com was forced to launch a temporary new website today because of a legal dispute over the domain name 'Bodog.com.' The site was replaced by 'newbodog.com.' Players who visit that site will. Www.bodog.eu is a Canadian gambling site that offers sports betting, a racebook, online poker, and casino games from the same website. If you’re from Canada, chances are you’ve seen their many advertisements. They are previous Canadian Football League (CFL) sponsors. Bodog welcome bonus. All new Indian customers at Bodog can choose from a palette of enticing welcome bonuses depending on their preferences. Sports punters can claim a great welcome offer, while casino players and live casino fans get to choose 1 Bodog welcome bonus from a total of 3.
Both sites were down for maintenance for several hours on Wednesday in order to implement the new features and provide users with a fresh new look. What are some of the updates you should be checking out?
New Look
Prior to the extended downtime on July 18, the sites issued a press release that said, “Our partner brands are getting an upgraded, next-level look and feel, along with a slew of easy, seamless features designed to optimize their players’ experience like never before. Make sure to check out the new platform and please note that there will be some expected downtime as it goes live.”
The sites were down for several hours that day, but they are now once again fully operational and far more user-friendly than they were in the past. In the past, navigating from sport-to-sport on Bovada was a bit tiresome. Now, it is far easier for a player to jump from page-to-page without getting lost.
It’s certainly also worth noting that Bovada and Bodog have done a wonderful job in terms of making the pages look clean. In the past, there was no clear end to the bottom of a page on either site. If you scrolled to the very bottom, the page would just continue on and on while more icons and lines popped up. After the update, the length of each page is clearly defined. If you want to scroll further down the page, there is a “Show More” button that makes things far more clear-cut and generally easier on the eyes.
Bovada says it makes getting from point A to point B “easier than ever before” and it rings true.

Different Mobile Options
Rather than simply being able to place sports bets from mobile devices, which is plenty convenient in its own right, Bovada and Bodog will now allow players to participate in all tournaments and casino games available on both sites. Previously, these games were only available to users playing on a desktop or laptop computer.
If you’re on the go and find yourself with some time to kill, you can now easily navigate your way to either site and play a few hands of blackjack or roulette. Maybe slots or video poker tickle your fancy instead? All of those are now available via the sites’ mobile platforms, which is certainly a huge upgrade to the overall experience.
You can hit up the Poker Room and participate in every available tournament. Players may also sit in on the final table of the Super Millions Poker Open. To see what’s out there, just type https://m.bovada.lv/poker on your mobile phone or tablet to get things started.
Updates to the Sportsbooks
Bovada said they were planning to “implement a stack of sportsbook improvements” with the site maintenance. Lines and odds will now change on the fly, so you don’t even need to hit the refresh button to see the updated numbers. It all happens right before your very eyes, which is a very cool thing to witness.
The sites also now make it easier on users to put together a parlay card. This all goes back to making the pages more navigable without as much clutter getting in the way. In the past, it was admittedly difficult to compile a parlay in a timely manner.
New Bodog Poker Site
Bovada and Bodog have also streamlined the live and traditional betting features. When you click on a line (Cubs +140, for example), the bet will now instantly be placed on your bet slip. The sites have done away with the review process, which means the bets will be processed as soon as you click “Place Bet.” The first time you do this, you will be prompted with a pop-up warning you that the review process has been removed from the sites.
Live betting has also been expanded to include more games. You can even go as far as to place a live bet on something as seemingly random as a Europa League qualifier or a cricket match going down in Mumbai. The burgeoning world of ESports is also well represented. It is also now easier to bet on the wide array of props available to the betting public.
New Security Procedures
Instead of using your account number to log into your betting account, users are now able to log in using a valid email address. In order to keep your account safe and secure, players will be required to come up with a 4-digit security pin code similar to the one you use at the bank or an ATM.
They have also made withdrawing and depositing money even more secure than it was before. The aforementioned pin code will be required whenever any withdrawal or deposit inquiry is made.
All player balances will be readily available at the top-right corner of the homepage. You can easily access your account information by clicking on your profile icon. This is another place at which you can locate your balance as well as any rewards points and bonus money. This will also be the hub for any messages in your inbox as well as any financial transaction you have made through either site. The help icon and profile settings features can also be found here.
Virtual Sports?
We don’t have yet many details on this new feature, as it was not a part of the new design rollout on July 18. However, Bodog leaked in the past that they are “also getting ready to release a series of exclusive Virtual Sports games.”
We can’t be sure exactly what this means as of yet. It definitely sounds innovative, and there is always going to be room for more betting features and betting options on the site. There is nothing else like this featured at any of their competitors, so it will be fascinating to see what Bodog has up their sleeve with the Virtual Sports gaming options.
The sites are also set to unveil a “Numbers Game” that will reportedly pay out winners “every 120 seconds.” It sounds fast-paced and exciting, though we also do not really know what this is all going to entail. Whatever the case, having the chance to win something every 2 minutes sure does sound plenty appealing.
This Is No Half Measure
Clearly, Bovada and Bodog are going all-out to continue to try and separate themselves from the competition. They were already established as 2 of the biggest names in the sports betting world to begin with, and with these new and exciting features it sure feels as though they aren’t getting complacent or taking their places at the top for granted.
From taking their casino games to the mobile platform or expanding the live betting operation, the new rollout has all sorts of new features designed to keep players engaged and excited for what’s next. Stay tuned, as we will be sure to provide an update whenever Bodog starts to release more information regarding the aforementioned Virtual Sports games. It is an exciting time to be playing at Bovada and Bodog, that much is certain.
